The founder of Ermis, Kostas Vorgiatzidis, began his journey with nothing more than an open plot of land and a single product — clingstone peaches. After investing time and personal funds. the purchase of a 1.6 hectare field in Area 66 marked the first step towards creating an organization with a meaningful impact on the area.

From the addition of freestone peaches and nectarines to the inclusion of kiwis and other local fruits, the organisation has gone from strength to strength. From the outset, the goal has remained unchanged: year-round activity centered on the fruits of our land combined with quality, authenticity, and respect for the soil that sustains us.

His vision continues to guide the operation and development of Ermis, grounded in the same values that inspired him from the beginning: persistence in reaching goals, resilience in the face of challenges, the courage to innovate, and the strength to move forward with stability and an eye on the future.
